The Electoral Commission (EC) has strongly refuted claims that the upcoming December 7 general elections could be rigged, emphasizing the transparency of the electoral process.
Dr. Bossman Asare, the EC’s Deputy Chairperson, assured the public that elections are won at the polling stations, where ballot counting is conducted openly and in full public view.
Dr. Asare explained that the results at polling stations serve as the foundation for determining the winners in both presidential and parliamentary elections.
He reassured Ghanaians that their votes would directly determine the outcome, with the constituency coalition center merely compiling the figures.
