Dr. Bossman Asare, Deputy Commissioner of the Electoral Commission (EC) in charge of Corporate Services, has assured Ghanaians that the electoral process is tamper-proof, even for politically exposed officials.
He explained that party agents, media presence, and transparent procedures prevent interference in elections. "Even if a flagbearer is appointed EC Chair, they cannot manipulate the process," he stated on TV3.
Dr. Asare also reminded special voters, including security personnel, journalists, and election officials, to cast their votes on December 2 at one of 328 designated centers, as their names won’t appear on the December 7 register.
This arrangement ensures they fulfill their duties while participating in the elections. Special voting results will be withheld until the general elections conclude.
