Even when we were hit with COVID-19, we held elections; don’t be afraid 2024 will be peaceful – Nana Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reassured Ghanaians that the upcoming general elections will be peaceful, dismissing fears of potential unrest.

He emphasized that despite challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic during the 2020 elections, Ghana will hold the 2024 elections smoothly.

Speaking during a media interview in the Ashanti region, the President urged voters to consider the achievements of his government, including policies like Free SHS and the Agenda 111 hospital projects.

He endorsed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stating that he is the only candidate capable of building on his legacy and ensuring the continuation of these transformative policies.
