Kathleen Addy, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), has urged voters to resist political manipulation and be cautious of misinformation during the 2024 elections.
In an interview with Channel One TV, she emphasized the need for voters to verify information and avoid spreading falsehoods, especially as voting concludes.
Addy warned that certain individuals may try to use voters to further their own agendas, and sharing unverified information could harm the integrity of the elections.
She urged Ghanaians to be mindful of what they share in the final hours of voting to avoid becoming part of the spread of fake news.
