Carlos Ahenkorah, Member of Parliament for Tema West, has acknowledged growing dissatisfaction among Ghanaians with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking on United Television, he admitted that voters have expressed their discontent through the ballot box, signaling the party's shortcomings despite its achievements in developmental projects.
Ahenkorah stated, “Ghanaians are saying we failed them. They are not impressed with our performance, and we must learn from this.”
He advised the National Democratic Congress (NDC), now in power, to prioritize addressing the needs of Ghanaians, warning against complacency.
He emphasized that the NDC’s success hinges on improving citizens’ living conditions, adding, “If they fail to deliver, they will face the same fate as the NPP.”
Ahenkorah urged all political leaders to prioritize national development.
