Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change, is optimistic about his chances in Ghana’s upcoming general elections, positioning himself as a transformative force in the country’s political landscape.
Speaking on Lawson TV/Radio Ghana Se Sen, Kyerematen highlighted the critical role of young voters aged 18 to 35, who he claims are disillusioned with the ruling NPP and opposition NDC.
“These voters realize the NPP and NDC have not delivered for them. Now, they have a credible leader in me,” he said, exuding confidence in his appeal.
Kyerematen predicted a decisive victory, boldly stating, “I will win the election with one touch.” He also forecast a rise in "skirt and blouse" voting, reflecting a split in loyalty among Ghana’s electorate.
He further hinted at internal divisions within the NPP, saying, “The NPP has always been divided between me and President Akufo-Addo.” Kyerematen promised a political shake-up, declaring, “People will receive the shock of their lives.”
