If you misconduct yourself; you’ll be sacked from polling station – EC warns party agents

The Electoral Commission (EC) has warned party agents at polling stations that any misconduct will lead to immediate removal from the premises.

Dr. Benjamin Bannor-Bio, Director of Electoral Services, made the statement during a three-hour briefing on the ongoing elections. He emphasized that party agents are meant to observe the process for transparency and fairness, not to disrupt voting.

Dr. Bannor-Bio clarified that any actions undermining the integrity of the election would not be tolerated, and agents must respect the rules.

He reassured that measures are in place for a smooth process, urging agents to adhere to guidelines and report issues to the presiding officer.
