Former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has acknowledged the economic challenges facing President-elect John Dramani Mahama, describing the situation as a difficult inheritance.
However, he expressed confidence in Mahama’s ability to navigate the crisis, urging the new administration to prioritize governance reforms and unity.
Addressing journalists, Iddrisu warned, “Ghanaians say, ‘If you fail us, we’ll show you tomorrow,’” emphasizing the need for responsive leadership.
Mahama has attributed the nation’s economic woes to the outgoing Akufo-Addo administration, promising reforms to rebuild trust.
