John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, has promised to resume work on the long-delayed Asesewa water project if the NDC returns to office.
The project, which was initiated by the NDC, was abandoned after the party lost the election.
Mahama made this promise while addressing the chiefs and people of Asesewa in the Upper Manya Krobo Constituency on Friday, November 22.
He also promised to transform the historic Asesewa market into a modern market that meets the community's needs.
