National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama marked his 66th birthday with a surprise visit to the Philadelphia Movement church, led by Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah.

The visit, part of Mahama's ongoing outreach to religious groups, coincided with the church leader’s birthday celebration.

Addressing congregants, Mahama criticized the poor state of the roads leading to the church, describing them as "horrible." He promised to improve the infrastructure if elected president in 2024.

"If God favors us and we come into power, we will walk on an asphalt road to church," he assured.

Mahama's campaign continues to gain traction as he traverses the nation, advocating for better infrastructure and engaging with diverse communities.
