NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Electoral Commission (EC) of colluding to rig the December 7 elections.
Speaking at a rally in Sekondi on November 26, Mahama alleged that 65 NPP members were recruited as EC staff in Gomoa East, Central Region. He claimed this was orchestrated by an NPP MP and party executives, compromising the electoral process.
He warned that such partisanship could undermine fairness at polling stations, urging Ghanaians to be vigilant during the elections.
Mahama reiterated the NDC’s concerns over alleged coordination between the EC and the NPP to influence results, citing the Gomoa East incident as evidence.
