The family of Shaibu Haruna, a teenage victim of the December 7 election-related shooting at Nyankpala in the Northern Region, has vowed never to forgive the perpetrators.
Speaking at Haruna’s burial, his uncle, Mohammed Abu, expressed the family's grief and anger, emphasizing their demand for justice.
"We will never forgive the killers of our son until the end of time," he stated, urging the Ghana Police to ensure the culprits face prosecution.
The tragic incident occurred amidst tensions between supporters of Ghana’s major political parties, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.
The injured are receiving medical treatment, while police investigations have led to the arrest of 10 suspects.
The family remains steadfast, seeking accountability for their loss.
