The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has pledged to uphold transparency and fairness in Ghana's 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
In a press release on December 2, the OSP outlined measures to combat corruption, fraud, and other electoral malpractices.
The OSP warned electoral officers against falsifying vote counts or making false returns, emphasizing that such acts are serious offences.
It also reminded the public that practices like vote buying, intimidation, violence, and impersonation are illegal and will be dealt with swiftly.
Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng reassured Ghanaians of the OSP's readiness to act against any violations, ensuring a credible and accountable electoral process.
