Persons with disabilities (PWDs) and the elderly in the Hohoe Constituency have praised the Electoral Commission (EC) for prioritizing their needs during the election.
Peter Dornyame, a 67-year-old PWD, shared his positive experience at the St. Francis Demonstration Primary B Centre, where EC officials assisted him despite his misplaced voter ID.
Similarly, 65-year-old security officer Agozi Jacob commended the smooth process at the High Court premises and encouraged peaceful voting.
The Biometric Voter Verification Devices (BVDs) were functioning well at all visited polling stations, and election materials were available.
However, voters at some centers had to endure the midday sun due to a lack of shade.
There are 147 polling stations in the Hohoe Constituency, with 70,644 registered voters.
