The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam, has condemned the looting and vandalism that followed Ghana's 2024 elections.
Speaking in Accra, he urged authorities to enforce the law against perpetrators, irrespective of political affiliation, to deter future acts of impunity.
Rev. Wengam also praised Ghanaians for the peaceful elections and called for swift reflection on electoral processes to address concerns promptly.
Meanwhile, Israeli Ambassador Roey Gilad joined the Cedar Mountain Chapel to celebrate Hanukkah, expressing hopes for strengthened Ghana-Israel relations under the incoming Mahama administration.
Deputy Finance Minister of Namibia, Maureen Hinda-Mbuende, also encouraged the continuation of "Beyond the Return," fostering Africa-Diaspora connections.
