Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, has warned Wontumi TV about the potential revocation of its broadcasting license due to spreading voter misinformation.

His concerns stem from a viral video featuring Oheneba Nana Asiedu, an aide to Chairman Wontumi, claiming that the Electoral Commission announced different dates for the presidential elections.

These claims were debunked by the Electoral Commission and other authorities. In a social media post, Sam George condemned the station for consistently spreading false information, calling it "calculated, deliberate, and malicious."

As Deputy Ranking Member of Parliament's Select Committee on Communications, he reminded Wontumi TV of its responsibilities and warned of the consequences if such actions continue.
