Samira wanted to slay as First Lady, now she’s unhappy – Krontihene of Akyem Asoum

Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, the Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, has claimed that Samira Bawumia, wife of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is deeply unhappy following her husband’s loss in the presidential election to John Mahama.

In a recent interview, Nana Boadi stated that Samira had envisioned herself as a stylish and influential First Lady, playing a prominent role in the NPP’s campaign to achieve this.

“She was so desperate for the position,” he remarked, emphasizing her high visibility and charisma during the electioneering period.

Nana Boadi added that Samira’s aspirations and vibrant personality stood out, contrasting with former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

Her disappointment, he suggested, mirrors the mood in the Bawumia household after the defeat.

“Now, she’s very unhappy,” he concluded.
