The Commanding Officer of Achiase Jungle Warfare, Lt. Col. Jacob Codjoe, has cautioned against election-related violence in Achiase and its environs ahead of the December 7 polls.

Speaking at a "Peace Concert" organized by the Salvation Army Church in Akyem Oda, he warned that the military would act decisively against troublemakers.

"I will not talk; I will beat you. Try me or any of my men on that day," he stated, emphasizing the military’s readiness to intervene when invited by the Police.

Lt. Col. Codjoe urged voters to respect electoral laws and maintain peace to safeguard the country’s stability.

The Territorial Commander of the Salvation Army Church, Col. Seth Agyei Appeateng, also called on citizens to uphold Ghana’s reputation as a beacon of peace.
