The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that special voting for the 2024 general elections will take place on December 2 at 328 designated centers.
According to Dr. Bossman Asare, Deputy Commissioner in charge of Corporate Services, no constituency will have more than 750 special voters, with larger centers divided accordingly.
Special voters, including security personnel, journalists, and election officials, are urged to cast their votes on this date as their names will not appear on the voter register during the general elections on December 7.
This arrangement ensures these individuals fulfill their electoral duties while participating in the democratic process.
However, the results of the special voting will remain undisclosed until the general elections are concluded.
