Professor Agyeman-Duah, co-founder of CDD-Ghana, has described the ongoing 2024 elections as one of the most intriguing in Ghana’s history, despite widespread calls for change.
Speaking on JoyNews, he noted the unpredictability of outcomes in regions like the Northern Region, where both leading presidential candidates hail from. He highlighted the potential for surprises in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions, which could significantly reflect the electorate’s appetite for change.
“This will be one of the most closely contested elections,” he said, emphasizing that regional dynamics and the broader public mood will heavily influence voting decisions.
The tight race underscores the heightened stakes as Ghanaians cast their votes.
