The Ghana Police Service has granted police enquiry bail to 70 alleged supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) arrested for various offenses during the aftermath of the December 7 elections.

Out of the 123 individuals arrested nationwide, 49 suspects have been processed for court, 33 remain in custody awaiting court appearances, and 16 have also been granted bail.

Additionally, four new suspects arrested in connection with recent attacks on government agencies are in custody and will face court proceedings on Friday, December 13.

The Police refuted claims about the alleged disappearance of NDC Effutu Constituency Vice Chairman, Abraham Ato Annan, confirming he is safe and in good health.

Citizens are urged to disregard such false reports.

Authorities continue to process all suspects through due legal procedures.
