The Ghana Police Service is investigating the ransacking of Ursula Owusu-Ekuful's residence and office following her loss in the 2024 elections.

The outgoing Ablekuma West MP and Communications Minister's properties were damaged, with videos showing scattered documents and overturned furniture.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, raising concerns about the security of political figures after the elections.

Police have condemned the incident and urged anyone with information to assist in identifying the culprits.

In response to related unrest, the Police denied claims of vandalism at the NPP office in Kasoa.

President-elect John Mahama has called for calm, urging supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to refrain from unlawful actions and help maintain peace during the transition.
