A voter at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency was arrested by the police for attempting to photograph their marked ballot paper just 15 minutes before the special voting polls closed.

The incident has sparked concerns about electoral conduct and the violation of voting laws.

The individual's identity remains undisclosed, and the case is under investigation.

Additionally, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ayawaso Central has raised alarms about security personnel allegedly taking photos of their ballot papers after voting.

NDC Chairman Harry Otu reported that several police officers were observed engaging in this behavior, which he argued undermines the secrecy of the vote.

The NDC has called for immediate action by the Electoral Commission (EC) to safeguard the integrity of the election process.
