The Electoral Commission of Ghana is close to finalizing the results of the 2024 elections, with only four regions remaining—Greater Accra, Ashanti, Upper East, and Savanna.
Twelve regions have already been validated and endorsed by all political parties and independent candidates.
Following the near-completion of the validation process, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate has conceded defeat, offering congratulations to President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
Mahama, who is expected to address the nation soon, will officially speak after the Electoral Commission announces the certified election results.
The electoral process is nearing its conclusion, with Ghana on the brink of inaugurating its new leadership.
