Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, reflected on the party's defeat in the 2024 polls, expressing that while painful, it ultimately helped preserve Ghana’s peace.
He noted that had the NPP won, the country could have faced chaos, emphasizing that the defeat was part of God's wisdom.
NAPO highlighted the NPP's commitment to peace, stating that they would not want to see the country in flames.
He also spoke of the lesson in humility, comparing the process of gaining power to gold being refined through fire.
Despite the loss, NAPO expressed hope for the party's return to power in the future.
