New Patriotic Party (NPP) Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, has defended Minority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh amid controversy over his comments on the Ablekuma North election dispute, blaming the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for disruptions in the constituency.
Ahiagbah argued that the real issue is the NDC’s alleged obstruction of the Electoral Commission’s (EC) collation process.
He accused the opposition party of vandalizing EC property and hindering election security.
He called for focus on resolving the root causes of the impasse rather than fixating on Annoh-Dompreh’s remarks. Ahiagbah urged authorities, including the government and the police, to ensure the collation process is concluded without further delays.
