In compliance with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced his side of the Transition Team to oversee the smooth transfer of executive power to the incoming administration.
Key appointees include Chief of Staff Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare as Co-Chairperson, Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame, and several top ministers such as Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu (Presidential Affairs), Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam (Finance), and Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey (Foreign Affairs).
Additional members include civil service leaders like Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh and national security officials.
The team will be inaugurated on December 11, 2024, with President Akufo-Addo and President-elect John Dramani Mahama serving as Co-Chairpersons.
President Akufo-Addo assured Ghanaians of a seamless transition to uphold Ghana’s democratic stability.
