On Monday, December 9, a group of angry youth, suspected to be NDC supporters, stormed the Metro Mass Transport office in Kaneshie, Greater Accra.
The group arrived around 8 am, demanding to see the manager.
When denied access, they attempted to steal a company pick-up vehicle.
The youth, reportedly wearing NDC-branded shirts, were confronted by police but no arrests were made.
After the situation briefly calmed, the group returned with greater force, again demanding to see the manager or take the vehicle.
They eventually left when their attempt failed.
This incident follows a similar attack at the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly, believed to involve NDC supporters targeting offices of the National Service Scheme and NADMO.
These events occur amid the ongoing 2024 elections, where the NDC is assumed to be leading.
