Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP’s presidential candidate, has vowed to address challenges faced by spare parts dealers if elected on December 7.
Speaking at Abossey Okai, Ghana’s largest spare parts hub, he proposed a flat-rate import duty system to reduce costs and simplify trade.
The initiative, part of his broader support for SMEs, aims to boost profitability for traders and drive economic growth.
Dr. Bawumia appealed for their votes, emphasizing the NPP’s commitment to easing economic burdens and improving trade conditions.
