The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Communications Directorate, typically lively during key events, was unusually quiet as two scheduled press briefings failed to occur.
JoyNews’ Kenneth Gyasi reported that briefings set for 11:45 p.m. and 2 a.m. did not take place, leaving journalists without updates on election results.
Previously bustling with party executives and supporters, the premises were nearly deserted by 2:30 a.m., with only security personnel and reporters remaining.
This contrasts with earlier engagements by Bawumia campaign spokesperson Miracles Aboagye and General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, who used the venue for updates.
The absence of executives and communication has left journalists in uncertainty, despite promises of consistent updates over the coming days.
????????????️????This morning, the NPP officials seem to have abandoned their Communications Directorate.
