Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the NDC Manifesto Committee, has cautioned Ghanaians against placing trust in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign promises.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Ankrah questioned the feasibility of Bawumia’s key proposals, including introducing a flat tax rate, removing the e-levy, and improving public finances and infrastructure.
The former Sports Minister accused Bawumia of a history of unfulfilled promises, describing his new commitments as risky for voters.
“Believing Bawumia is dangerous,” he warned, emphasizing the Vice President’s track record of broken promises alongside President Akufo-Addo.
Ankrah urged the electorate to reject Bawumia, arguing that he would likely fail to deliver on his pledges.
