The People's National Convention (PNC) has officially declared its support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of Ghana's December 7 general elections.
This decision follows the disqualification of PNC’s presidential aspirant, Bernard Mornah, by the Electoral Commission.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, November 27, PNC National Chairman Sampson Asaki announced the party’s stance, emphasizing that with just nine days to the polls, the PNC could not remain neutral.
He revealed that during a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, a majority of their 15 regional representatives agreed to back the NDC's presidential candidate.
The party expressed its commitment to working with the NDC to ensure the formation of the next government.
