Election 2024: Parliamentary results will be known by 8pm on December 7 – NPP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has assured Ghanaians it will announce comprehensive parliamentary results by 8 pm on December 7, citing upgrades to its collation system.

Deputy General Secretary Haruna Mohammed told Citi News that the party's improved system, tested in a dry run, ensures faster processing compared to previous elections.

He emphasized that the presidential results will also be finalized more efficiently this time. Mohammed stated, “By the time polls close at 5 pm, we should know who has the majority.”

The NPP, he added, is fully prepared for Election Day, having refined its strategy and trained agents. “We’ve put final touches to our campaign and tested systems to ensure smooth operations on the day,” he noted.
