The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma Central, Jefferson Sackey, has called for calm and responsible conduct during the special voting exercise and the December 7 general elections.
Reflecting on the tragic loss of life during the 2020 polls in the constituency, Sackey urged voters, particularly the youth, to embrace non-violence.
“Voting is simply an expression of choice. There’s no need for aggression or conflict. Cast your vote, go home, and return later to witness the counting process peacefully,” Sackey said.
With 140 of 856 registered voters participating so far in special voting, he emphasized unity, urging all to contribute to a smooth and successful election.
