NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has criticized the governing NPP for inaugurating interchanges ahead of the December 7 elections, accusing them of hypocrisy.
He cited a 2016 post by NPP's Gabby Otchere-Darko, which urged voters to focus on economic issues rather than infrastructure projects.
Mahama highlighted the contradiction, noting that projects like the Flowerpot and Obetsebi Lamptey interchanges were launched during an economic crisis.
Speaking in Bawaleshie during his Greater Accra campaign, he called for change, arguing that the NPP’s leadership has worsened unemployment and hardship in Ghana.
“This election is about change, not an interchange,” he stated, accusing the NPP of taking the country backward over their eight-year tenure.
