Finance Minister Dr. Amin Adams retains Karaga seat

Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Karaga Constituency, has successfully retained his seat in the 2024 general elections.

Dr. Amin Adam, who doubles as the Minister of Finance, secured a commanding victory with 28,155 votes, surpassing his closest competitor, Sualihu Alhassan Dandawa of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who obtained 22,409 votes.

This victory reinforces Dr. Amin Adam's political foothold in the constituency despite the challenging electoral landscape for the NPP nationwide.
