Flower Pot Interchange: Omane Boamah recalls Gabby’s “vote for change, not interchange” tweet

Dr. Omane Boamah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Director of Elections, has revisited an eight-year-old tweet by Gabby Otchere-Darko that read, “Vote for change; not interchange!”

The post, made during the NPP's 2016 campaign, has resurfaced just as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo inaugurates the Flower Pot Interchange in Accra today, November 19.

The timing has sparked reflections on the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) earlier rhetoric about prioritizing "change" over infrastructure.

The newly commissioned interchange aims to ease traffic congestion along the Tema Motorway, improving mobility for commuters.
