The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the judge who ordered the Electoral Commission (EC) to re-collate results in nine disputed constituencies of bias and procedural errors.
The December 20 ruling followed a mandamus application by New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidates, citing alleged election irregularities.
While the EC began re-collating results for seven constituencies, the process for Dome/Kwabenya and Ablekuma North remains incomplete.
The NDC, through its Director of Legal Affairs, Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, argued that the trial judge violated principles of natural justice, citing a failure to allow the NDC to present its case and a procedural oversight under CI 47.
The Supreme Court's ruling is awaited.
