Mahama names transition team

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has announced his Transition Team following his victory in Ghana’s December 7, 2024, general elections.

The team, appointed under the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (ACT 845), will collaborate with the outgoing administration to ensure a smooth power transfer.

The team comprises seasoned professionals from diverse sectors, including finance, governance, and public administration. Key appointments include:

- Hon. Julius Debrah - Co-Chairperson
- Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia - Member
- Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey - Member
- Dr. Callistus Mahama - Member/Secretary
- Dr. Valerie Sawyer - Member
- Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi - Member
- Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson - Member
- Hon. Mahama Ayariga - Member
- Hon. Goosie Tanoh - Member
- Dr. Edward Omane Boamah - Member

Additionally, Edward Doe Adjaho has been nominated to serve on the Transitional Advisory Council.

The team is tasked with facilitating a seamless political transition.
