Former President John Dramani Mahama’s 24-hour economy proposal has been labeled vague and impractical by Dr. I.T. Yusif Tedam, a former NPP treasurer aspirant.
Tedam argued that Mahama has failed to provide a clear plan for the policy, dismissing it as "whimsical and mythical."
He cited Mahama's past governance issues, including prolonged power outages (dumsor), canceled allowances for teachers and nursing trainees, a collapsed NHIS, and corruption scandals like the Ford Expedition bribe and Airbus saga.
In contrast, Tedam praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his detailed plans, including tax reforms, job creation, and building a digital economy, urging voters to reject Mahama’s return.
“Ghanaians deserve progress, not a return to failures,” he said.
