Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for President-elect John Dramani Mahama, has announced plans for a national address following his official declaration as the winner of Ghana’s 2024 presidential election.
In a press statement issued on December 8, Mogtari confirmed that the address will take place at Mahama’s office.
The speech is expected to outline Mahama’s vision for the nation and the steps his administration will take to drive development. It will also emphasize unity and collective efforts toward progress while expressing gratitude to Ghanaians for entrusting him with leadership.
The announcement comes after NPP candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s concession call, marking a pivotal moment in Ghana’s democratic journey.
The address is anticipated to set the tone for reconciliation and a renewed focus on national advancement.
