Dr. Rashid Tanko-Computer, Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of fabricating pink sheets to sway the Electoral Commission's (EC) declaration of parliamentary results for Okaikwei Central, Tema Central, and Techiman South.
Following a re-collation exercise by the EC on January 5, the NPP candidates were declared winners in these constituencies.
However, Dr. Tanko-Computer, speaking on Joy News, rejected the results, alleging the NPP presented "manufactured" figures.
“These are not genuine figures but fabricated data submitted as soft copies to influence the re-collation,” he stated.
The NDC insists it has accurate figures reflecting the true results of the December 7 polls and plans to pursue legal action to challenge the EC's declarations.
