John Abdulai Jinapor, NDC MP for Yapei-Kusawgu, described Ghana’s economy as being in a "mortuary state"—critical but not beyond saving—during an interview on Oyerepa FM.
Highlighting challenges like the power crisis and rising debt, he criticized the Akufo-Addo administration’s handling of the economy.
Jinapor assured Ghanaians that recovery is possible with the right leadership, emphasizing the NDC’s readiness to restore prosperity under John Mahama.
“Ghana hasn’t reached the point of no return,” he said, stressing that bold decisions and focused governance could turn the situation around.
He pointed to the NDC’s track record and resilience in past crises, expressing confidence in the nation’s ability to overcome difficulties and achieve economic stability.
