NDC secures Court injunction to halt Nsawam-Adoagyiri re-collation

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reportedly obtained a court injunction halting the re-collation of parliamentary results for Nsawam Adoagyiri amid ongoing disputes over discrepancies in the election results.

The Electoral Commission (EC) initiated the re-collation on December 12 at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra, for four disputed constituencies in the Eastern Region: Nsawam, Suhum, Fanteakwa North, and Akwatia.

Tensions between the NDC and NPP have escalated, with disagreements delaying the process into a second day. The NDC raised concerns over inaccuracies in the EC's pink sheets, intensifying the debate.

This legal action adds another layer of complexity to resolving the electoral disputes, leaving the next steps uncertain.
