The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has strongly criticized Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC) for its handling of an emergency Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting initially scheduled for December 24, 2024.

The EC called for an urgent meeting at its Corporate Head Office but cancelled it hours before its commencement without explanation.

Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, NDC’s Director of Elections, described the move as disorganized and unprofessional, citing the disruption caused to party schedules.

The NDC has accused the EC of incompetence and bias, urging greater professionalism and adherence to constitutional procedures in election-related engagements.

The sudden cancellation has fueled frustrations over the commission's approach to critical matters.
