The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has outlined its robust preparations for the December 7 elections, including training 153,000 individuals to support its electoral operations.
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the NDC’s Director of Elections and IT shared insights on Joy FM, highlighting a comprehensive training programme that involved exams and strict selection criteria.
From the initial group, 87,000 agents were selected, though uneven polling station coverage posed challenges.
Technological advancements were pivotal, with a monitoring system by Yayra Koku and Atta Boateng enabling swift collation of results.
By 7 pm on election day, the party had analyzed data from 20,000 polling stations, showing favorable trends for John Mahama.
The NDC also equipped 300 officials, including lawyers, with tablets for real-time coordination, ensuring readiness across all constituencies.
