The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned alleged violence and lawlessness by supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after Ghana's December 7 elections.

NPP National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, accused the NDC of trying to disrupt the democratic process, citing violent incidents in various constituencies. He praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for conceding defeat swiftly, contrasting it with the NDC's actions to create chaos.

Mustapha urged the Ghana Police Service to restore order and protect Electoral Commission officials and materials. He also called on President-elect John Mahama to prevent further violence.

The NPP emphasized its commitment to peace, warning that attacks on its members would not be tolerated as tensions remain high in the final stages of the election results.
