The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused National Democratic Congress (NDC) members of violent actions in several constituencies, obstructing Electoral Commission (EC) officials.
At a press conference, NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua urged President-elect John Mahama to call his supporters to order for peace.
The NPP cited areas like Damongo, Ablekuma North, and Ahafo Ano South West, alleging voter intimidation and ballot box tampering.
Kodua called on the police to act swiftly, emphasizing that violence undermines democracy.
The party claimed significant leads in contested areas, including Akwatia and Techiman South.
They urged the NDC to respect the electoral process and resolve disputes lawfully, calling for unity and vigilance to protect Ghana’s democracy.
