The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has established an 11-member committee to investigate the causes of its defeat in the 2024 general elections.
Chaired by former Speaker of Parliament Prof. Mike Oquaye, the committee will review the party’s internal operations, campaign strategies, and broader challenges that contributed to the loss.
The committee has three months to conduct its review and present findings to the NPP’s National Council.
General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua outlined the committee's objectives, including evaluating internal election processes, reviewing the campaign strategy, identifying key factors behind the loss, and proposing solutions to strengthen the party for future elections.
