The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced results for several of the nine disputed parliamentary constituencies undergoing re-collation as ordered by the Accra High Court.
These declarations have seen significant victories for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the Obuasi East Constituency of the Ashanti Region, the NPP’s Patrick Boakye-Yiadom narrowly retained his seat with 18,558 votes, defeating the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Aboagye by just 19 votes.
Similarly, in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region, Frank Annoh-Dompreh (NPP) emerged victorious with 29,640 votes, edging past the NDC’s Fummey Philibert by 207 votes.
In the Tema Central Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Charles Forson of the NPP secured a win with 18,870 votes, surpassing Ebi Bright (NDC) by 55 votes.
Over in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Nana Agyemang Prempeh (NPP) retained his seat with 20,353 votes, defeating the NDC’s Kwasi Adusei by 121 votes.
In Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, the NPP candidate, also retained his seat with 21,099 votes, surpassing Baba Sadiq's 19,368 votes.
